WE ALL HAVE DREAMS AND PERSONAL GOALS. CROSSING THE ATLANTIC OCEAN IS CERTAINLY A PERSONAL CHALLENGE FOR US AS WELL, WHICH REQUIRES EXTREME PHYSICAL AND MENTAL BALANCE TO SUCCEED, ESPECIALLY WITH THE TOUGH ROUTE WE CHOSE THAT NO ONE HAS EVER COMPLETED IN THIS WAY. BUT WITH EVERY STROKE OF THE OARS, WITH EVERY MILE ROWED, WE HELP A SIGNIFICANTLY IMPORTANT CAUSE WITH OUR PURE STRENGTH, HEART, AND DETERMINATION. SO WE WON'T STOP WHEN WE'RE TIRED… WE STOP WHEN WE'RE DONE.
After more than 5 years of hard work, SAMSON, the new generation ocean rowing boat is ready, completed all open water tests perfectly, and became one with its dedicated crew thanks to the regular trainings together.
His unique DNA equips him with unmatched self-righting capability, and his wave-piercing bow and the trimaran bloodline ensure unparalleled speed and stability compared to any other traditional rowing boat.
Zero emission fuel-cell systems will turn water to electricity to power the state-of-the-art navigation and communication equipment onboard of this exclusively manpowered vessel. SAMSON will not only carry his crew from one continent to another safely, but also communicate with all campaign followers and share all that’s happening onboard via photos, videos, and status updates.
We are working hard to collect funds for all on-board equipment required to cross the ocean, and we were able to purchase a great part of from our own resources already. We hope to find a partner to be able to get the missing units who believes in what we are fighting for, and value all those huge amount of work and energy we put into this project to being our Trans-Atlantic journey from West to East to achieve something that’s never been done before.
A successful businessman and family man, father of an 8 years old boy. Fights committedly for conserving our living place for our children. Openhearted and strong-willed man with indestructible optimism. He is a dedicated supporter of RedCross and Red Nose Doctors to give ill children happiness.
As a fanatic sportsman, he is always seeking and achieving new goals that seem to be unachievable to everyone else. A father of two admirable little girl, an honest and straightforward man with legendary endurance and call. A professional police officer in New Zealand, he is a regular participant of extreme sport events requiring long term endurance.
Earth is fragile. We often wonder what type of environment we will leave to our children. Day after day, we are warned about pollution, global warming, and unsustainable growth. These changes affect not only the Earth itself physically but also our children, which is shown by the number of life threatening health problems that are growing each day suffered by the youngest generation. To give our children a chance to live a better life and to survive we need to respect Earth and protect it. It's time to stop talking and start doing, because we should never forget:
WE DID NOT INHERIT THE EARTH FROM OUR ANCESTORS. WE BORROW IT FROM OUR CHILDREN.
Being determined to do our share and communicate the required actions with the widest audience possible, we decided to row across the Atlantic Ocean. We also encourage our followers to act and do their share of protecting Earth. Everybody has to understand that the environment depends on us just as much as we depend on the environment. This is an interaction in which the perfect balance should be found.
We are aware of the scale of problems but if we unite our efforts, we will be able to do amazing things together. Why cross the Atlantic Ocean for this purpose? Oceans cover over 70% of the Earth’s surface and provide us with half the oxygen we need for breathing. So, we believe it is the perfect place to express our thoughts while undertaking this heroic achievement and this gives us the platform to reach the broadest audience to call for action.
BECAUSE ALL TOGETHER, WE CAN MAKE THE DIFFERENCE!
